3 Uses for Body Scrubs (and why I love them)

How to Use Sugar Scrubs
What better way to usher in Fall than with sweet and nourishing pumpkin spice body scrub!

If you haven't heard yet, Beanies & Weenies is releasing Fall gift baskets this Friday that include a crocheted basket, two fall colored crochet washcloths, and 4 ounces of handmade pumpkin spice body scrub! The best part about it is that it only costs $25!

If you're thinking, "well, that's great and all, but what can I do with a sugar scrub?" then I'm here to enlighten you.
Sugar scrubs are pure magic for your body. I'm not exaggerating! Sugar scrubs help you get rid of dead skin and moisturize at the same time. Who doesn't like silky smooth skin from head to toe? That's right. No one.

The best part about sugar scrubs, Beanies & Weenies' pumpkin spice scrub in particular, is that they are made of completely natural ingredients! You don't have to worry about sketchiness or irritation unless you are allergic tooconut oil, sugar, or pumpkin spices.

Magic I tell 'ya.

While you can use sugar scrubs from head to toe, here are my top three uses for sugar scrub:
  • Lip Scrub: The right sugar scrub not only gets ride of dead skin on your lips, but it plumps and add moisture as well.
  • Exfoliant: Sugar scrubs are a miracle at exfoliating dry and/or peeling skin, especially in the winter. Just rub it onto the problem area and watch the magic happen.
  • Get a Closer Shave: For best results when shaving your legs, use a body scrub to exfoliate your legs before you shave. Don't exfoliate after because this will irriatate your skin.

To use your sugar scrub, take a steamy hot shower because, why not? The steam and warm water will help open your pores and help you get the most out of your exfoliation.

Grab a small lump of scrub at a time and work it into your skin. Just rub, rub, rub in circular motions while enjoying the aromatic scent the scrub gives off. Envision all your dry, dead skin just flaking off and leaving behind skin just as smooth and soft as a baby's bottom.

Once the scrub dissolved, rinse off your skin and apply a moisturizer to lock in the smoothness. Then parade around admiring your freshly pampered skin!

There! Now you know how to enjoy the body scrub in the Beanies & Weenies fall gift baskets when you buy one this Friday!

And if you haven't entered the Beanies & Weenies Fall Basket giveaway yet, head on over to Instagram and do it now! The giveaway ends Thursday at 11:59 est and the winner will be announced Friday.
