East Burger Sliders Recipe
The 4th of July is right around the corner, and you know what that means! Summer is in full swing! Between trips to the pool or beach and time spent enjoying the warm weather, it is easy to get too busy to cook. And with everyone's favorite grilling holiday only a few days away, everyone wants to get out, enjoy some fireworks, and eat good food. If this sounds like you, I have the perfect recipe for you: burger sliders.
I made these babies out of desperation last week. I had a handful of foods about to go bad and I was at a loss for what to cook. When my boyfriend had the idea to throw everything together to make burger sliders, I thought it was ingenious! Especially after I tasted them!

Not only did they taste good, but they were so EASY to make! I mean it! Neither my boyfriend or I know what we are doing with a grill. But when I busted out my handy-dandy George Foreman grill, all I had to do was sit back, relax, and wait for my food. Seriously. It was that easy. But if you are an avid griller, this recipe can just as easily be done on a traditional grill.

This recipe all started when our newest grocery store, Lidl, had hamburger on sale. I also had some of my favorite King's Hawaiian rolls that were nearing their expiration date. Naturally, we put two and two together to make these easy burger sliders. We spiced up our burger by grilling some onions on the George Foreman grill, as well as using salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. I also decided to use provolone cheese on my burger sliders instead of the regular American cheese. I highly encourage you mixing it up and make these burger sliders with different spices. Here is a recipe that I like for burger seasoning. Homemade chili would also be good on these burgers. These easy burger sliders also go really good with homemade fries!

Without further ado, here is the recipe for easy burger sliders!

Ingredients:
  • Hamburger
  • King's Hawaiian Rolls
  • Provolone Cheese
  • Onions
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Salt & Pepper

Directions:
  1. While the George Foreman grill is heating up, make patties out of your hamburger that fit onto a single roll. Sprinkle them with salt and pepper and a dash of Worcestershire sauce. If you want your cheese melted, add the provolone on top here.
  2. Place your patties and onions on the grill and close the lid. Cook them for 15-20 minutes, depending on how done your like your burger sliders to be.
  3. While the burgers are cooking, slice your Hawaiian rolls in half.
  4. Assemble your easy burger sliders and enjoy!
