april must have products: bath, skincare, and cocktails
Spring is a great time to try new products and that is exactly what I have been doing! With a wedding on the horizon, I have been testing the waters for beauty products to use on, as well as before, the big day. Skincare has been a big focus of mine recently. I have never had a good skincare routine and figured six months before my wedding was the time to start one!

In my April Must-Have's you can find Mario Badescu Facial Spray, a Freeman's Green Tea +Orange Blossom Face Mask, Lush's Scrubee body butter, imPress press-on gel manicure, and the cutest pineapple cocktail shaker for summer!

Without further ado, here are my April Must-Have products and why I can't live without them:
  1. Lush Scrubee Body Butter: I don't a single person who doesn't like Lush. I am in love with a number of their products, but their scrubee body butter is my absolute favorite! I love a good exfoliation and this one does the trick. With ground almonds and coconut shells mixed with cocoa butter, shea butter, and honey, the Lush scrubee smells like heaven and makes my skin feel soft and moisturized!
  2. Pineapple Cocktail Shaker: Nothing says "summer is right around the corner" like pineapples and this pineapple cocktail shaker is exactly what my bar cart needed. (Stay tuned for my blog post on my microwave cart turned bar cart!) Copper is super popular right now and the pineapple theme fits with all the tropical drinks I have been making lately!
  3. Mario Badescu Lavender Facial Spray: With my wedding already less than 6 months away, I figured it was time to hop on the skincare bandwagon and try and get rid of the redness and acne marks I have always had trouble with. This Mario Badescu Lavender Spray is my favorite thing I have tried so far! It can be used to provide moisture, calm redness, and even as a makeup primer and setting spray. And the lavender scent is absolutely amazing! It smells like a fresh lavender plant every time I spray it. The best part is this bottle is only $7!
  4. Freeman's Green Tea + Orange Blossom Face Mask: On the same note as the facial spray, I got this Freeman's Green Tea + Orange Blossom peel-off gel mask to help rid my face of these ugly, red acne scars I have had for years. I actually noticed a difference after use one use! My acne scars were still there, but they were noticeable lighter and my skin was super soft! Not to mention, this mask smells heavenly.
  5. ImPress Press-on Manicure: Last but not least are the ImPress Press-on gel manicure nails. I picked these up from Target the night before we did our engagement pictures. (Pictures coming soon!) I didn't have the time to go get my nails done professionally and, frankly, had bitten all of my nails down so they were not is any condition to be photographed heavily. I hadn't put on press-on nails in years, so I thought they'd be no good. They actually turned out to be perfect! I just peeled off the back to reveal the gel coat and pressed them on to my nails. Voila! Instant manicure that lasted for a week! And I'm thinking about using these on my wedding day instead of paying for an expensive manicure!

So, this is what I've been obsessing over this past month! What have you been loving?
lush scrubee, better homes and garden cocktail shaker, mario badescu lavender facial spray, freeman's green tea + orange blossom gel peel off mask, impress press on gel manicure

I have been thinking about getting some press-ons for an event because I just can't manage the time out of my day to go get my nails done. It's a relief to hear that they are worth it!
