Crochet Blanket Survery
I am currently working on this crochet blanket. It is my test subject for creating an Etsy listing for crochet blankets. As we all know, crochet blankets can get very expensive. Just a quick glance through the current Etsy listings will tell you that. Blankets take such a great amount of yarn and time that it is nearly impossible not to price them high, especially when you factor in yarn types, sizes, and finishes. My quick scan through Etsy gave me a range of $35-$300! That makes it really hard to create a price for my own crochet blanket listing.
I have figured that the best way for me to create an accurate price is for me to ask my customers! The blanket I am working on is a handmade soft, chunky crochet throw blanket. It is being made with Bernat Blanket, 100% polyester, super soft yarn. Without giving too many trade secrets away, I can tell you that one ball is approximately $10 at its cheapest (use that for your estimations). The blanket is thick and guaranteed to be warm, not to mention soft to the touch. The finished product will be 54 in x 60 in, a hearty size that drapes comfortably over my full sized bed. Upon request, it can be smaller to fit a baby's needs. As always, it will be machine washable, perfect for any age or gender, and will make a wonderful gift for any occasion. With all of this in mind, I would love it if you would fill out the below survey! All it asks is what you would look for if you bought a crochet blanket. I appreciate all the feedback I can get! Pricing this blanket is proving to be hard work. Feel free to share with your friends and family, especially if they have any crochet experience. Any response is welcome.
