Scrunchies are all the rage this summer and I am all about this velvet scrunchie trend. I've been crocheting them and stocking up my Etsy since the Spring. Now, I want to share everything I love about these scrunchies and how I wear them with you! I have 5 ways that I love to wear velvet scrunchies. If you think they went out of style a long time ago, think again! Scrunchies are back and they are better than ever! Keep reading to learn how to style scrunchies.
1. High Ponytail
Whether you're a find of Ariana Grande's signature high ponytail or not, you have to admit it's a classic look. High ponytails are sleek and effortless. Add a plum velvet scrunchie and you've got a trendy look on your hands!
2. Top Knot
Tie scrunchies are so in this summer! Everyone is using them for up-do's and half-up-do's like this messy top knot. With tie scrunchies being so popular, I just knew a velvet tie scrunchie would be just as cute. This messy up-do is perfect for rolling out of bed not washing your hair. This velvet tie scunchie helps you look cute with minimal effort.
3. Bun
Buns can be classy or mess. What's not to love? Especially with these velvet tie scrunchies. Make everyone think you spent hours on your hair, tying it up perfectly, when all you did was throw on a velvet tie scrunchie.
4. Braid
If I were a better braider, this look would be my go-to. I love that it's boho chic and very laid back. The pale pink velvet scrunchie to tie off the end is just a soft statement piece and I love it. I recommend this style to everyone who can braid their own hair pretty well!
5. Space Buns
I have honestly never tried space buns before getting ready for this post- I just didn't think I had enough hair to pull of this trend. But, with these plum colored velvet scrunchies, BOY WAS I WRONG! I actually loved this 'do! If you have thin hair like me and have been afraid that you don't have enough hair to fill out one high bun, let alone two, velvet scrunchies do the trick. They are so thick, they added all the volume my little space buns needed without making me look weird. This is a must try hair style!
If you love any of these looks, you can buy your own velvet or velvet tie scrunchie or scrunchie set from my Etsy!

Liked your post. My 4 years old daughter likes to wear the first way (High Ponytail). but more than that she loves to wear it on her wrist and it definitely looks good that way as well.
